Early last year I saw that there was a real need for someone to document the Ron Paul presidential campaign. Unfortunately, I couldn't talk my wife into putting our lives and our business on hold to go into debt traveling the country to document it on film like I really wanted to :)
When it became evident that the media had made it their mission to block out nearly all coverage of Ron's campaign, insult and marginalize him, his supporters and the significant grassroots events (such as the reenactments of the Boston Tea Party) that were taking place around the country, my frustration burst.
I decided to put together a compromise to filming the rEVOLution. Something that I had been thinking about a lot in the previous months ...
The Ron Paul Timline
"The Ron Paul Timeline serves as a living documentary of one of the most significant presidential campaigns in America's history. From record-setting and never before seen grassroots support to the immense and unbelievable media blackout, my goal is to document as many historical and noteworthy events as possible. Eventually, they will be presented in a rich graphical, interactive experience."My hope is for it to become an interactive history documenting as much as possible, but I really need help putting it all together, particularly in getting all of the events into the system.
Thanks for any time you can dedicate to helping. Together, we can tell the story that America is missing.

Thanks for the work you are doing here. I am wondering if you have the referenced links cached. They will surely take the documents you reference down and maybe sooner than you think. Also, it might be a good idea to refer to the media exposure graphs on the Project on Excellence in Journalism site (http://www.journalism.org )
Just a couple of suggestions. Thanks again for your work.
Sam
It's my pleasure really :) But please, your help is appreciated as well. Submit anything you notice that's missing.
And yup - nearly everything that is listed here has been saved and published online in one form or another. Every website listed has had a screen grab taken at the time of the event mentioned, and a portion of them have been uploaded to Flickr.
THANK YOU for reminding me of journalism.org. I've added a handful of their reports to the timeline (and yes, grabbed screen grabs of all the reports too)
Hi again. I don't know exactly what help I can offer but I am willing to pitch in to fill out some of the timeline entries. For example The Iowans for Tax relief forum early last year had a remarkable conflict of interest that kept Dr. Paul out. Mr Failor. Here is a link to an article regarding that issue:
http://www.gambling911.com/Ron-Paul-Iowans-for-Tax-Relief-062607.html
It was beautiful how Dr. Paul's impromptu rally drew more heads.
Anyway, if I can scour the web and dig up articles concerning some of the entries I would be happy to. Please feel free to let me know if that would be helpful.

Also, I have kept a copy of our local paper from super Tuesday (Riverside, CA) that excluded Ron Paul. I don't know if if archiving them would fit in with your ambitions here or not but please post back and let me know.
Thanks Sam! Yes, I am archiving copies of everything (many of the items on the timeline link to archived versions of articles), so please feel free to send it to me. You'll find an email link at the bottom of the timeline site pages.
You may wish to add the many times Ron Paul received a rating of 100% during his Congressional career from the "Conservative Index" at The New American Magazine.
The Conservative Index ranks members of the Senate and House periodically on how they voted on various bills using the Constitution as the yardstick.
I believe that most times he was the only House member who achieved a perfect score.
Here are a few links to some 1988 material. I don't want to upload it because I wouldn't be able to give the full information but I think all of the following is noteworthy. I really want more information shown on his 1988 campaign then just the Morton show, and hopefully these will help make his 1988 campaign seem more interesting and active. Please include them.

Whatever happened to the website? It went down. I sure hope someone has it cached somewhere. Can we at least make a Wiki to document it?
The site is fine. I'm having server issues at the moment and hope to have it resolved in the very near future.
